MGL Avionics latest 4th generation "Lite" EFIS panel - Now available with native G4 architecture enabling built-in screen design, AOA, and 4x RS232 ports
The MGL iEFIS 10.4" Challenger Lite is a color EFIS with touch screen and built-in AHRS. The new "native" G4 version also features built-in user screen design and pneumatic AOA sensing.
Operating without an iBOX unit, the iEFIS Lite loses ARINC, analog NAV outputs, and dual power supply inputs. For more information on Lite vs Full iBOX systems, see the "Differences between iEFIS and iEFIS Lite" on page 3 of the iEFIS Lite User and Installation Manual.
An iEFIS extender can be used to connect to more external serial devices.
iEFIS Lite contains an internal AHRS, but an external SP-7 or SP-9 AHRS is highly recommended for best results (mounting near center of rotation and isolation from vibrations). An SP-6 or SP-9 is required for magnetic heading.
