Shipping Policy
At Legit Avionics, we aim to ship your order quickly, securely, and affordably.
Carriers & Services
We currently ship all orders via UPS® using the following services:
- UPS® Ground – reliable, cost-effective delivery within 1–5 business days (depending on distance).
- UPS® 2nd Day Air® – expedited delivery in 2 business days (available at checkout).
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and chosen UPS service.
If you wish to purchase shipping insurance, signature requirement, or other services for your order, please contact us.
Processing Times
- In stock orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days.
- If your order contains any backordered items, fulfillment will be held until all items are in stock. If you need to split shipment of your order, please contact us.
- You’ll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.
Shipping Coverage
- We currently ship to all U.S. states (including Alaska and Hawaii).
- No international shipping is available at this time.
- UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes — please provide a valid street address.
Backorders & Special Orders
Some MGL Avionics products may be indefinitely unavailable due to supply chain issues.
- Your order will ship as soon as the item becomes available.
- Full payment is required at checkout to reserve backordered items.
Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items in brand-new, never installed, undamaged, condition in the original packaging with all documentation and accessories included in the original delivery.
- Shipping charges and handling fees are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Items showing signs of installation, wiring, or modification in any way cannot be returned.
To request a return, please email support@legitavionics.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll provide return authorization and instructions.
Warranty & Service
All MGL Avionics products include the standard manufacturer’s warranty, typically 12 months from the purchase date.
If your unit requires service or troubleshooting try the following:

- Check the MGL Avionics Users Forum, a great resource for finding and discussing common problems: MGL Avionics User Forum
- Contact support@legitavionics.com — we can often help diagnose common issues.
- If repair is needed, contact us.
For out of warranty service, a $100 diagnostic fee is required for initial service. If the unit cannot be repaired and no replacement parts are available, this fee will be refunded (excluding shipping). For units requiring significant parts, we’ll provide a written estimate for approval before proceeding. Units showing evidence of modification, misuse, or physical damage are excluded from the no-fix, no-fee policy.
